Limpin' Jimmy and The Swingin' Kitten have been teaching Sydney to dance Rockabilly for nearly 10 years now. Come and learn this cool dance style from the 1950's in a friendly, relaxed group environment. Meet new friends and try social dancing with a variety of different partners who are all out to have fun learning to dance!

We swap dance partners throughout the afternoon so come along by yourself or bring a partner and join the rotating circle, where you will get a chance to practice with a number of different people.

We offer three levels of rockabilly dance workshops:

1. Beginners: We will show you the basics, technique and some cool moves to get you started in this 3 hour workshop. Designed for brand new beginners.

2. Beginner Refresher: Offered just prior to the Intermediate session so you can refresh the basics before moving on to Intermediate. This is ideal for dancers who have completed the 3 hour Beginners Dance Workshop who would like to consolidate what they have learnt.

3. Intermediate: This workshop is a 2 hour session which is designed to improve your dancing technique as well as learning new dance moves. This workshop is for dancers who have at least satisfactorily completed our Beginners or Beginners Refresher Workshops or dancers who would like to improve their style and learn more moves.

There is unrestricted parking in the streets near Camperdown Memorial Rest Park.

Try Federation Street which runs along the Park or any of the streets that run on to Federation - Northwood St, Roberts St and Hopetoun St.

From there, it is only a couple of minutes walk to the Hall.
